Thanks to the Pájaro dish, a delicate porcelain design, Mariscal added artistic and emotional value to crockery.
When the Bilbao company Bidasoa decided to renew its catalogue with very personal, designer pieces, it asked Mariscal to produce several items, such as the Pájaro (Bird) Dish. Mariscal designed it in white, a colour that highlights the beauty and transparency of porcelain. Thanks to his ability to transfer his drawings of animal-shaped creatures into three dimensions, Mariscal managed to get the dish to adopt the shape of a delicate, slim bird without losing its function. An item that adds artistic and emotional value to crockery.
