We brought to mind the games we played when we were young to design a cardboard house made for children's imaginations.
Villa Julia, from the Me Too children's collection by Magis, is a proposal of a house for children in which they are provided with the cardboard and the folding plan, but the children themselves can set it up (helped by an adult), place it where they want and customise it by colouring in the drawings that decorate its façades. They are given a plan with easy assembly instructions, in five stages. The game consists of several phases: setting up, customising it and decorating it, occupying it and taking it down again. Villa Julia has a chimney, eaves, a door and windows. Its lines bring to mind the typical family homes of the American middle class in the 1950s.
