We have designed a welcoming interior space protected by a solid shell.
A chair is a temporary refuge, a place in which to take a break from tiredness or from the stares of people. This is why they are so important and this is why there are more chairs than people. The Wok chair arose from the idea of a walnut, coconut, with a welcoming space inside protected by a solid shell which, when cut with a sharp, dry blow, offers up the secret it was withholding: its rich texture, its sombre colours and its ergonomic shape. To sit and wait, to read, to chat or even to think about why there are so many very different chairs.
